Be a Homeroom Teacher!

In this program, each SEA-Teacher assigned to one class to know how to be a homeroom teacher in Japan. I've got 1B Class with 40 students. Homeroom teacher have to join the cleaning time that begin from 3.15. Yes, in Japan, even teacher have to accompany the students to clean the classroom

After 10 minutes cleaning the classroom, we begin the homeroom session with teacher announcement. After that, teacher will ask the students if there are anything they want to share to the whole class. It can be anything, task, school event, class event, etc.

I really love this session because everyone is involve. This session encourages students to speak up and make students learn how to work in team with their classmate.

Oh yeah, I almost forget to mention this, each regular class have two homeroom teacher. 1B Class homeroom teacher is Akihara Sensei and the vice homeroom teacher is Takahata Sensei. They are very welcome and friendly. This is my photo with them during the farewell party.

I really want to impement this kind of session and mechanism in Indonesia. Looking forward for that to happen!
